Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. The anti-establishment movement was forming a new wave of style and fashion. During a time when anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist recognized tastes were changing and had the foresight to create a truly unique range of semi-permanent colours.
Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and pushed the boundaries even further as he developed an innovative new range of rainbow shades. Always adopting a brave and avant-garde approach to hair color, Renato encouraged young hairdressers to make hair color as fashionable as the haircuts. He became a mentor to many of the top names in the hairdressing industry. He was a dedicated ambassador for the hairdressing community and worked tirelessly to promote the industry worldwide.
Today we hold true to that legacy by working closely with our salon community including our fantastic Ambassadors. Crazy Color® was fueled by a revolution and over 40 years later our ethos remains the same: we want to inspire you to explore your creative side. Colourful, vibrant hair redefines society's norms. Created to encourage originality and individuality, it has become a means of outward expression for those who aren't afraid to show they are different and who wear their individuality with pride!
